Naturens Dag- Cook’n Talk

 In News

On Sunday, the 9th of September, VEN had the fifth Cook’n Talk event. Mohamed from Palestine, prepared the deliciouse food for us. On the menu we had different types of salad, rice, humus, eggplant dip, rice in grape leaves, falafel, meatballs and chicken on spire.

The Cook’n Talk was just a small part of the day. 27 adults and 8 kids celebrated, Sunday, Natures Day in an unusual way, with zumba workshop, conducted by Romy Montaño Galarza from Bolivia. The participants danced on African and Latin music and there is even a video to prove it.

The kids received bingo cards, and together with their parents, they took a tour in nature in search of different plants and insects.  At the end, all the kids got rewarded with a bag with small objects.

The day ended in a very Danish way, with small cookies, prepared by Mohamed, with 3 layer cake prepared by Romy and roast marshmallows and coffee. We enjoyed the perfect weather outside in front of the Sneglehuset, a cabin that can be booked in the Nørreskoven forest area.

Thank you all for participating and for supporting VEN by paying your membership. You can follow our Facebook page and website in order to stay updated about the next events.
